Minnie Two Sweet Second Birthday
A love for Minnie Mouse and cupcakes, and Jade Avery’s Minnie Two Sweet birthday party was born! With only one week to plan everything, from Minnie Mouse birthday invitations to planning out all the Minnie and cupcake themed birthday decoration, Jade’s second birthday party turned out Two Sweet!
BIRTHDAY OUTFIT
Thank goodness for Amazon! With only seven days to plan everything, I went with this cute Minnie outfit and switched out the polka dot shorts for a cute glittery pink tutu. She looked two sweet and it was perfect for the hot summer day it was!
DECORATION
After about 10 minutes on Pinterest, I knew exactly how I wanted to mix Minnie Mouse and cupcakes to create Jade’s perfect little Minnie Two Sweet birthday party.
MINNIE SPRINKLES CAKE
Ever since we celebrated my first baby-shower, we have always had Sara’s Cakes turn our vision into a reality. Not only do they turn out exactly how we want, or even better, but her cakes are also so delicious!
If you have seen other birthday parties I have thrown, like Achilles’ 3rd Dinosaur birthday, you know themed lollipops are my thing. These cupcake lollipops and Minnie bow topper were so cute, especially once paired together in this mini pink pail which I also used last year for Jade’s One In A Melon birthday.
I shaped my own Minnie chocolate/peanut butter cookies and added these cute Minnie Mouse inspired toppers. Super easy DIY Minnie Mouse birthday cookies that literally anybody can make in just a few minutes.
MINNIE GOODIE BOXES
I was going more for Minnie Mouse silhouettes as part of the decor so I knew these light pink favor boxes with these Mickey Mouse inspired stickers I found would be super cute together.
Jade loved her goodie bag so much that she decided it was good enough to accessorize her outfit with!! Gotta give it to her, she was right. How precious does she look?
CUPCAKE PIÑATA
How adorable is this cupcake piñata?! It was a great size for filling with candy and sturdy enough that five toddlers got to take a few swings at it. Next time I will most likely reinforce our piñata to have the fun last longer, especially with a couple of older kids.
PUT THE RING ON MINNIE
Put the ring on Minnie was another hit and gave all the little ones a chance to play.
ANOTHER FEW FAVORITES
Here are a few of my favorite pictures of Achilles and Jade just being them. Achilles taking a “break” and Jade obviously upset haha. Then, Achilles holding Jade’s hand as the protective big brother he is. And finally, a group picture of friends that have become family!
